Love The Little Things 1/24

Love the little things

#littlelove
My house may not be as clean as I want, but the smiles and giggles are all worth it.

Read

I must admit that I have not read any good books in quite some time. However, there are many blogs that I enjoy reading daily. I need to go pick up a new book. Do you have any recommendations? I would love to hear. Maybe next week I will showcase a favorite blog post from one of them? Hmm, That needs some thought.

Watched

Can we talk Dracula for a moment? Have you been watching that show. It is on Friday nights on NBC. Oh my goodness. Total hotness. I have been hooked by Dracula. I didn't know what I was getting into when I started watching it, and there are some bad reviews. That is so not the case. There is a great story line and constant twists in the plot. This past Friday was just crazy. I didn't expect what happened at all. I really do not want to give away the juicy details. You can watch it for yourself. It is really worth it. Jonathan Meyers plays an excellent Dracula in the new adaption of the popular character. He is an American, brought back to life by Van Helsing. Tonight is the final episode. Series finale? I think so sadly. Dracula will be missed. So will Mr. Alexander Grayson.

My favorite quote of last weeks episode. “If you insist on behaving like a monster, then I am going to make you one.”

Heard

My favorite song of the week is Eminem - The Monster (Explicit) ft. Rihanna.
I think it's the depression talking. But it rocks.

Made

I have made a few great things this week. You can check out the S'mores Dip I made a few days ago. I also helped my daughter finish her school project. Apparently Pre-Schoolers get homework. FUN.

Wore

Wore? Nothing in particular. I did wear a new lip stick/gloss. I entered a sweepstakes a bit ago and received a free sample from Mary Kay. I was so surprised at how much I would love the color. I took a picture, but it doesn't show it well. It's a night time picture. So it is kind of blah.
It is the nourishine plus in rich spice.  I need a Mary Kay consultant.

And lastly..

Tons of stuff to get done. Lots of reviews to finish. I have so many thoughts in my head that I need to just take a moment to get it all together. I had therapy last night. It went well. Overall I think its helping me realize what I need to improve on. I am hoping I can get through this without medications. Only time will tell. My previous post on Life and family will tell you a bit more about what is going on.

  5. Ahh- depression. I suffered and saw a counsellor which was a massive help but did also have to take tablets which was helpful but I hated it and felt like a huge, broken failure of a person. At the moment though, all is very well which I put down to support and exercise.
Best of luck. Thinking of you. X
