Bundles and Buzz Mama Bundle Review

Have you heard of Bundles and Buzz? I originally found this company through Facebook and have joined in on there famous page bombs. I actually just one my second store credit from their Facebook bomb game. Maybe that will give me incentive to try a different bundle.

It's like being a child again and opening up a birthday present. What's more fun then opening up a bag of goodies to see what may be inside. Maybe it is just me, but I really am not that great with surprises.
Bundles and Buzz came up with this great idea to give a new twist on the average subscription box. I love the concept of this. There are several options to choose from and I have been told their new Cloth bundles are coming soon. You can choose a Mama Bundle, baby Bundle or Toddler Bundle. They are always new and different goodies to be found in these bundles.
These bundles are $30. I'm just not sold though. OK, so I did purchase the bundle.  It is great. I just don't see how there is supposed to be much gain from it all. I've been told that there is usually approximately $50 worth of goodies.

I just don't see it, sorry. Maybe it was just my bundle that was lacking. I should have bought the baby bundle or toddler bundle. Those seem so much more, equipped. I'm not a displeased customer, just didn't know what to expect. Now I know. I'm not difficult to please by any means, so that isn't it either.
Bundles and Buzz has great customer support and the ladies really are wonderful. I have enjoyed their games and plan to keep up with them.
I decided to purchase their Mama Bundle. As you can see in my pictures. There is a bright purple bag. Very cute bag by the way.
What was in my bundle
pepsi co. bag
Sweet Pits Deodorant
Lisa Ann - whipped Body butter
Quadra Island Soap (smells amazing!)
Balmshot Lipbalm
Scentuals Body lotion
Love true Naturals Self Tanner (That tiny little round container)
Moms Kisses (this is the cutest thing in this bundle, Love it. wonder if it works.)
Avon naturals vanilla shower gel. (Travel size.)
20% off Lisa Ann Skin Care
6 Months of IndieFlix (never heard of it)

What is your opinion? Am I being silly? I am still excited to try everything I received in my bundle. I have not gotten the chance to.  Maybe my opinion will change once I use the products. I guess I understand how the goodies I got would pertain to a Mama, but not this mama. In all, it really was a great experience and I will be purchasing again. Which bundle would you like to see me review? I will be purchasing again very soon and I would love your input. I will post the next bundle here as well.

FYI: I was not paid for this post, all opinions are my own. Bundles and Buzz is not compensating me in any way. I purchased the product noted above for myself. My experience will likely differ from yours. I still love Bundles and Buzz.

What's an Ad swap? Link Up

In my blog hopping, I came across this great idea. Ad Swapping!

You are probably thinking to yourself, "that doesn't sound healthy".
Ok, maybe not.

It is real simple. You promote my blog and I promote your blog, page, website.. Etc. You catch  my drift.

I also do have options for paid ad space if swapping isn't your thing. But really, who wouldn't want FREE ad space?

I came up with this great idea, a monthly ad swap link up! I'm hoping it is a great success. I also have a Show and Tell Sunday Link up that I do twice a month. So look out for that too.

The swap will be good for ONE entire month.

Make sure the blog and or product fits your blog niche, before accepting any paid or free blog ad.
This link up will be open for 2 weeks and posted once a month.

Tweet this.

Link up your AD page or post.
Only ONE link per person.
Feel free to promote this link up.

One blog will be featured each month in the link ups!
Co-Host spots available.
I am open to suggestions as well.

Chubby Baby review - Sponsor Spotlight

As part of my Mama Madness Giveaway, Collen from Chubby Baby sent me some of her beautiful baby clothes to try with baby girl. I loved the adorably bright colors and softness of the lace. Usually I find lace to be stiff, but I was pleasantly surprised.

We received the items below.
Pink Romper
Purple lace leggings
Pink Ruffle bloomers

Baby Girl looks so adorable in her pretty pink romper. The Hot Pink bloomers are made with chiffon ruffles. Adorably cute and completely soft. Perfect add on to her fluff! Her leggings didn't quite fit, but they will. Cannot wait to use them. She is definitely a girly girl.

I loved working with Colleen and cannot wait for our giveaway coming up March 1st.

Go like Chubby Baby on Facebook and give Colleen some love.

Chubby Baby also has Car Seat Slip Covers. Those are so adorable. A great way to bring an old car seat (or new) back to life!

*I received the products noted above. All opinions are 100% my own regardless.

DIY Cloth Wipe Solution

If you use Cloth Diapers, why not use cloth wipes? It's real easy to make your own cloth diaper solution. Even easier to use and toss into your wet bag. What's more, one less thing to throw into our landfills! I have used some great recipes for cloth wipes. My all time favorite ingredient is Coconut Oil. It is delicate on skin, and smells amazing.

Coconut Oil can be used for a variety of things, but I prefer it to not be in my food. (Yuck!)
It is great as a diaper rash ointment and wipe solution because it keeps yeast away. It does solidify a bit, but it melts into baby's skin, so don't fret. You can add it to just about any wipe recipe, but here is my basic wipe solution. Enjoy! :-)

1 Tbsp Coconut Oil
1 Cup Water
1 Tbsp mild baby soap (We use TruKid)
Wipe Container

Optional Oils as follows
Calendula oil
Tea tree oil
Rosemary oil
Eucalyptus oil
Lavender oil

 Onto the directions.

Melt your Coconut Oil with your Hot water.
Add your favorite baby soap and stir.
Pour over 15-25 baby wipes.

Close your wipe container, and shake. Careful not to spill.

You can use and old flannel receiving blanket and cut it up. They make perfect cloth wipes!
Note: Some diapers will repell certain oils. I have never had an issue. You may want to designate a separate wet bag if using essential oils.
