Fairy Tale High dolls Review #HolidayGiftIdea

We were recently sent the Fairy Tale High Dolls to review. I'm sure I am not the only mother of a little princess, right? She loves pink and girly! Her favorite princess is Ariel! I know right? She takes after her mom! I am still Ariel obsessed. It is my favorite of the dolls.

Typical teenagers... living life and loving fashion, fun and friendships... long before they even knew they would be princesses.

Enter the magical world of Fairy Tale High®, a place where magic happens and beloved fairy tale characters come together for the first time ever in a modern-day high school setting. Toting the latest accessories and sporting designer fashions and hip hairstyles, teenage Snow White, Rapunzel, Belle, Sleeping Beauty, Little Mermaid, Alice in Wonderland, Tinker Bell and Cinderella are brought to life as they might have been before they became fairy tale princesses.

Fairy Tale High features a collection of beautifully designed fashion dolls, along with a series of webisodes and eBooks found for free at www.fairytalehigh.com, that showcase each character’s  teenage story, revealing the qualities that will eventually make them princesses and the not-so-perfect flaws that trip them up along the way.

There are a lot of new dolls coming on the scene these days. I am really pleased with the design and quality of Fairy Tale High dolls! They are not the same as the Ever After dolls, as I believe they have a bit more movement. Meet the princess before they got their happily ever after! My daughter loves Ariel!

Each doll is 11.5" tall, and is all dolled up in the latest fashions. I feel these are more "modern day" princesses. Which is pretty cool to me. I was still able to tell which doll was which without looking closely at the names on the box. Can you tell? Each eBook is written in diary form by each of the "princesses". It talks about their adventures together in High School and tells some of their secrets that no one else knows.

Tinker Bell

Alice in Wonderland

Ariel

The one flaw about them is how super skinny they are. Young girls are so impressionable. My daughter loves these dolls and the dolls like them. But I hate how they show this unrealistic image of what a "princess" should look like. Most dolls are the same, so I can't write these off completely. My daughter loves them. The best part about it is that if you do have Barbies, you can use most clothing and accessories with Fairy Tale High dolls! No need for any new cars and houses!

These dolls would be the perfect Christmas gift for any little princess!

Available nationwide at Toys R Us stores, select Wal-Mart stores and online retailers.

You can purchase them for $17.99 per doll.

  2. Those sure are interesting. I don't know of anyone I could give them to as a gift. Maybe for older children though. We only have little ones in our family.
