Time for a tea party!

Tea Party Dress

First let me say that this isn't my pattern. I wish I was amazing like that. I purchased the tea Party Dress pattern from Lynn at The Handmaidens Cottage on etsy. Isn't it adorable?

Maybe one day I can share a mama made tut and pattern. But for now you can purchase the Tea Party dress pattern at the Handmaidens cottage shop. The dress is gorgeous and Alyssa loves it dearly.

I found the designer through a Facebook group and had to purchase it. It is so darling. Everything any little girl would hope for! It has ruffles and flair.

The twirl factor is definitely there!

The fabrics chosen for this tea party dress are the Tutti Fruity line. The pink and green are very light weight and the Strawberry is softer. It gives the dress a lighter feel.

I improvised the straps and made them wider. I also shortened the length. It could be a bit shorter. I wanted it to be fuller. But this works perfect.

The pattern is easy to use and even though it took forever, I love it!

What do you think?

It is the first complex sewing project I have done. This dress is perfect for a tea party! If you buy the pattern you will get size 6 months to size 8! Plus the Doll pattern!
