Toy Splash Galleon Raider Review

Toy Splash sent us a free sample of one of their amazing pool floats to review this summer.
Summer isn't over yet! Although it has felt like it for the last month here in Rhode Island. I can't believe how badly I have been praying for heat! Weather in the 70s may be comfortable. But not when you just want to go to the beach or to the pool. I'm happy that the kids have gotten to go swimming while they could. That brings me to our review!

The Galleon Raider is super cool! It looks just like a pirate ship. My son loves pirates, so this was incredible to him. As soon as the package came he wanted it blown up. But the weather was not working with us. I'm so glad that they did finally get one day with it though. It was a blast!

Inflating the galleon Raider boat was not fun. We don't have a pump. So it took almost 20 minutes for my husband to blow it up.
There were also separate areas to inflate, which made the process easier. He did have to take a breather. Poor hubby.

After it was inflated they were on such a rush to get in it.

The boat is way bigger than I imagined too! I could sit in it with them! I wouldn't recommend it. Save it for the kiddos.

They got their life vests on and set sail.
The plank was a bit awkward. They kept wanting to step on it. Luckily it can be removed easily. But it is an adorable touch.

They loved the back "window" in this boat. Alyssa kept sticking her head out of it. We made it into a game. haha

It held up very nicely and I could tell that it was made well. The rope was a great touch to this pirate ship.

  1. This is pretty awesome! I know a special kiddo who would just love this. ;) I don't think I love the plank idea either - too tempting for little ones!

  7. We usually use an air compressor for large blow up stuff. Since we don't have a pool. It would have to be blown up every time we would use it. It would probably be one of those things we use once and then I hide to try to avoid using. I'm sure my little kiddos would love it!

  12. That looks like so much fun! Poor hubby having to blow it up, mine got an air compressor for Christmas and he uses it for everything that needs blowing up, even balloons for birthday parties lol!
