WubbaNub Review

Aria and I recently had the opportunity to try out the WubbaNub this month. We have always used the Soothie pacifier. Even with our older children. The WubbaNub consists of a Soothie pacifier that is attached to an adorable little animal that is just the right size for little hands to hold.

I wish the our hospitals knew that the Soothie is best though! We were never given one. Although, I prefer waiting on using ANY pacifier at least the first 4 weeks of breastfeeding.

The WubbaNub takes this life-saving little pacifier to a whole new level. It is simply adorable! It is also very practical. I think the best part is that it makes it very easy to find the pacifier when you need it.

I know I am always losing our pacifiers. Or, Aria is losing them rather. Because the pacifier is attached to a stuffed pink bear, we never go more than two minutes without locating it in our house.

Another thing that I like about them are BPA, PVC, and phthalate free! WubbaNub puts safety first and strives to exceed the various safety standards for this type of product, in fact many NICU units and hospitals use them.

The only downside to the WubbaNub is that it’s a bit trickier to clean than regular pacifiers. The pacifier doesn’t detach from the stuffed animal. When I first pulled the WubbaNub out of the package, I was skeptical that I could get it clean enough to feel comfortable using it. But then I read the tag, which suggested washing the WubbaNub with baby’s clothes and letting it air dry. So I did. It came out clean and the stuffed animal dried very quickly.

Thank you Schneider family for making these adorable little WubbaNubs!

  1. I have no need for a pacifier anymore but this is exactly the perfect one. When my grandson was a baby I attached his pacifier to a small stuffed animal because we lost so many pacifiers!! Yikes. I really like the WubbaNub! I will recommend it to my friends with babies. Cathy the Bagg Lady
