Learn n Turn Utensil Review and Giveaway

Learn n Turn Utensil Review

My family recently had the opportunity to try out the Learn n Turn Utensil. Baby a is 9 months old and is now eating everything. We delayed solids until she was ready, which was at 8 months. By doing so, we avoided having to mush up too much food. It's really a win-win. Since she is feeding herself we needed a utensil that would work for her. At least to try, and learn how to use one.

That is when I heard of the Learn 'n' Turn. It seemed really interesting. The concept was great.

What is the Learn n Turn utensil?

It is an adjustable utensil that can be interchanged with either the fork or spoon attachment. It allows your toddler to learn how to feed themselves by being able to adjust the angle of the head that is attached to make it easier for them to get it in their mouths. For toddlers, eating with utensils can be quite the challenge. Not only are they not used to it, the bones and muscles in their hands and wrists are still developing, thus making rotation and correct positioning difficult. My older two had issues with regular spoons and forks well beyond 2 years old. My 4 year old has a genetic condition which effects her ligaments and causes her to be extra loose. Which was a factor in learning how to use eating utensils. I wish I would have known about this product then. She is fine with eating now.

  • The only adjustable, interchangeable spoon and fork utensil that helps teach your child eating skills
  • Accommodates left or right-handed learners
  • Unique grips on fork help hold food on tines

The spoon or fork attachment can rotate to various positions, creating the proper angle so food can be easily placed into his or her mouth . As your child’s wrists and hands develop, and their dexterity improves, you can adjust the angle of the spoon or fork accordingly.

This innovative product was created in 2007 by a stay at home father of two children, named Mike Canapini. The Learn ‘N’ Turn Utensil is sold for $9.95 and comes with 1 spoon and 1 fork attachment. The utensil is available in 4 colors: red, teal, purple and green. Extra spoon and fork attachments may be purchased separately.
