Green Bees Diaper Review

Green Bees Diaper Review

Hey everyone! As part of our Fluffy Mail Giveaway that is starting on May 1st. (hint) Green Bees sent us some awesome fluff mail! We got to review an adorable pcoket diaper with Marie from the Aristocats on it! SO cute. I really loved that, and felt it was completely different. (now I'm on the search for ALL disney diapers. We love Green Bees and know that you will too!

Diaper Features:

  • Pocket diaper
  • One-size, fits 6-35 lbs.
  • PUL waterproof interior
  • Micro-suede lining
  • Three rows of adjustment snaps to allow for a small/medium/large size in one diaper
  • Hip snaps to prevent the sides from drooping
  • Waist tab overlaps for extra-small waist size

As you can see here, there is a bit of a size difference between the diaper cover and pocket diaper.

The picture above shows the pocket opening with double elastics.

Three rows of snaps for easy One Size adjustable. As well as two rows to make the fit.

The inner Micro-suede. Which I am a huge fan of.

The Green Bees Wet bag is a great size and easily fits 8-10 pocket diapers with inserts. I stuff them in, so you probably can fit 6, really.

The zipper is in a great spot. I don't think I would have thought to put it in the front, rather than on top. But it definitely works well.

The above picture is the wet bag unzipped and opened.

The Diaper Cover I reviewed was Cute Pink Dots. There are two pockets in the diaper cover to insert your insert, prefold or whatever your heart desires. There is also a fold over elastic on the back pocket. Some may not like it, but I find that it serves it's purpose.

Here is the top view of a Green Bees Cover. The snaps are the same as the pocket diaper. With three rows to adjust size and 2 rows to adjust fit. There are also hip snaps on the cover.

Close up to show the front opening.

With my inserts stuffed in.

The hip snaps on the diaper cover.

The elastic back pocket opening. Which really isn't bad at all.

Green Bees Diaper Stats:

Ease Of Use: ♥♥♥♥ Diapers are diapers, they stink! Well I love that snaps make changing easy. You put in your insert and snap it on. Let baby go crawl around. The only problem I saw was the pocket opening. The two elastics are great, but it makes the opening a bit small. Even for my small hands. I found that I MUST take the insert out or it will stay inside during wash.

Adjustable: ♥♥♥♥ This Green Bees pocket diaper has four different rise settings, which means that it can fit babies between 6-36 pounds. Baby Girl is about 17 lbs. Although there is a size difference between the cover and pocket diaper, we have no issues getting into both. Having one-size diapers is very important to me because I like not having to buy new diapers as my baby gets bigger.

Leak Proof: ♥♥♥♥ Our Green Bees Pocket diaper comes with a super absorbant Microfiber insert. It works extremely well with the pocket. It is also a great night time diaper when used with a booster. No leaks!! There are also 2 elastics in the back. Which I really do believe really helps avoid blow outs.

Wash Routine: ♥♥♥♥ We all know that washing diapers is a process. So my 4 stars speaks for itself.

$$$$: ♥♥♥♥♥ Amazing prices at Green Bees!! You will find different prices but most pocket diapers are $8.00 - $10.00. Their wet bags are $7.00. Which is a steal. You will find a diaper cover for as little as $5.00. Definitely worth it for the quality too. Great quality at crazy low prices.

Cuteness Factor: ♥♥♥♥ I really wanted to give this diaper "5 hearts". But the print is clearly upside down when put together. The price is still right. So i won't dwell on that. It's the name on it that just bugs me.

Sizing: This is a One Size (OS) pocket diaper. It should grow with your child from about 6-35 lbs. The diaper cover runs a bit bigger, but works just as well.

Materials:
  • PUL waterproof interior
  • Micro-suede lining
  • Micro-fleece inserts
  • PUL wet Bag

  2. I still use honest diapers - my son is wearing big ones now - and will use them until he is potty trained. As for the scent of the diapers, they smell like baby powder. Other diapers have an unpleasant odor to me.
